Company that runs Austin airport’s South Terminal sues the City

In June, Austin officials approved a plan to use eminent domain to take over the South Terminal of the Austin airport so it can add more gates to the main Barbara Jordan Terminal. The company that owns and runs the South Terminal, LoneStar Airport Holdings, has filed a lawsuit against the city to try to stop the City from taking control of it.

A natural gas pipeline project through Central Texas has property owners upset. They are now preparing for a courtroom showdown.
New pipeline coming to Austin County

A new pipeline will be coming to the Austin County area next year. Land rights are currently being negotiated with Austin County residents for the necessary right of way by Norfleet Land Services.
According to a fact sheet distributed to local officials, the new Matterhorn Express Pipeline natural gas pipeline will have sections which are anywhere 42-inches in diameter to 30 inches and will be buried at a depth of 3 feet in most places.
